An introduction from the Founder & President Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou

Dear friends of the Gustavia Yacht Club,
This is a short presentation which outlines the progress we have made in creating this new Yacht Club on the exclusive island of St Barts. Having already signed up more than 75 members in less than two months, we have decided to go ahead and seek a limited number of Corporate Sponsorship partnerships with the right brands for the first year.
We have set the limit to six brands only until the end of 2017 and we are seeking a donation to our Club of €15,000 from each of the brands.
Along with my own initial endowment to the Club of €200,000 and the generous contributions from our Benefactors and Members, your support will give our Club the resources to grow and flourish. In addition to my endowment to the Club, I have granted the Club a three year lease on the current Clubhouse at a nominal rent.
Our ultimate aim is to enable the Club to acquire its own freehold premises in Gustavia within that timeframe.
If you would like to be one of these six brands that will support this not-for-profit association in meeting its long term objectives, then email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call me on +377-98801010.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Best regards
Stelios

"St. Barts is often compared to the French Riviera. It’s elegant, yet casual. Its visitors are mostly wealthy, but are not flashy.
It is glamorous, yet remarkably low key.”

“St. Barts is also completely free of security fears - the celebs feel so safe that they barely have body guards.
You really do bump into Sting in the supermarket and Paul McCartney on the beach.”
